When my daughter was really young, about a year maybe 13 or 14 months, I would put her on the potty, and she would usually pee. Now I realize that she didn't have any real idea what I was trying to get her to do. Now she is 20 1/2 months. I decided two days ago that I would really start trying to potty train her. The first day I kept her in diapers and tried taking her to the potty. She didn't go on the potty once. But like you said, as soon as her diaper was back on she would go. So yesterday, I decided No More Diapers! I put her in big girl panties. She wet them 7 times and never did make it to the potty. But each time she was wetting her panties, I would say, "Oh you are peeing! We pee in the potty!" And we would run to the potty. Don't yell or get upset. They are going to have a lot of accidents. Today, I followed her around all morning and put her on the potty several times. Finally, she peed while on the potty. I cheered and clapped and jumped up and down like a crazy person. She was so excited. I gave her a piece of candy, and we put a sticker on a piece of colored paper that I have in the bathroom hanging by her potty. After her lunch, I took her back in the bathroom. She sat on the potty a minute, then got up and was walking around the bathroom. A minute or two later she ran to the potty and peed. So once again I jumped around and we clapped and cheered, and she got another star. I am putting diapers on her for nap and bedtime still. But when she gets up from her nap, I am going to continue doing what we have been doing all day. The way I figure, we went in the potty twice as many times as yesterday already. I hope this helps you a little bit. Good luck!!

London may not be ready yet, but give it time she will be ready when she wants to. firstly it needs to be a relaxed environment so here are some things i used with my daughter, iuse to let her watch me i never shut the door so she could see that its normal for everyone to use the big toilet/potty, i also let her sit on the potty while i read to her, if you can find a few different childrens story books about using a potty that would be ideal, i even bought a bear in the big blue house dvd - potty time its called and she'd sit there on her potty and watch it for a short while, she would also play with some toys while sitting there, i also used bribes like if she went 3 times a day she could have a small treat like a snake lolly or a small lolly pop as they are her favourites. another thing i done i made a chart with mon to sun and times every hour from approx when she'd wake up till approx when she goes to bed EG- 7am- 8pm then whatever hour she went on the potty she could stick 1 sticker except when she done both she used two on the chart and have one to stick on her shirt/dress, she was always wanting to go just to get a sticker.

the thing is don't be negative towards them when they don't suceed or wet themself, just say its ok maybe next time because if you are negative they are only going to go backwards and be frightened they are going to get in trouble
