My son is going to be two in May, and i just officially potty trained him this week! Im so proud of him, he didnt have any accidents today! I used the no diaper method, it works really good. I bought him big boy undies, which he loves. He just wears them around the house with no pants. anytime he peed in them i would take him to the potty. Yeah it gets a little messy, just dont let them on your furniture! Now since he knows where to pee i have been reminding him to go about every hour or hour and a half (depends on how often your child pees i guess) everytime i put him on the potty he pees! And when he had to poo he came to me and signaled that he had to go (he isnt quite talking yet) SO we had a very successful day! I read somewhere that after they have dry pants for 3 days in a row never go back to diapers (except at night of course)

Good Luck!

She has tried at daycare... Ive had to start putting her in onesies again but she has recently figured out how to get those off too.. she is VERY smart! haha. the problem is i let her do it here bc her potty is here and if she has to go then she will go over to her potty but at school obviously her potty isnt there so if she gets her diaper off they have to just put it back on.

I also work at a daycare. I work at the same daycare that she attends. the state and 5 star dot allow potties in the 1 yr old room. not until they are 2. The oly way i can do it is if they move her up early... which by 5 star and state rule we are also not allowed to do. she cant move up until 2 weeks before her birthday. Im just so confused bc i dont want her to grow out of this stage and then it be harder on me in the long run...

I work in a daycare and i cant believe that dont potty train until the 2yr old room we have little toilets in the toddler room so they can train from 18mths if the parents want i would go ahead and start to train her and tell the daycare you have done this and would like them to continue.

I would just go at her pace for now like if she wants to use the potty then let her. Once she is potty training at daycare, then it will be easier to potty train at home as well.

My daughter (Raegan) will not be 2 until june. but she is trying SOOOOO hard to potty train already. Everytime she has to go she takes her diaper off. but she will not yet actually GO on the potty. She attends daycare and her school she cant use the potty in the 1 yr old room she has to wait until she is in the 2 yr old room. should I go ahead and let her start at home or would that just confuse her?
