Ideas for Potty training at Night time/ Bed time ...

those are good ideas.. I am at the same stage as Hannah, altho not 100 percent yet, because she still has accidents once in a while during the day, and i think she just gets too distracted, i ask her all during the day, and most the time when we are at home, she will just go on her own and she never has accidents going poo, she always goes poo on the potty. night time tho, i am waiting onuntil she is completely daytime traines, then work on night time, but not giving her anything after dinner im sure will help, and montering er pull-ups in the morning and see once she starts having more dry ones than wet ones, then trying the underwear trick, alot of times first thing in the mornng, she will get up and rush to our room and go pee in our bathroom, and then throw her pull up in the garbage

That is a really good cheat! My little girl has mastered day time dryness - but she is still in pull ups at night. I haven't really started to worry about her accidents at night yet as it is early days with the toilet training - she started 4 weeks ago! When i come to bed time toilet training i will defiantly try that out! Thanks! :)

YAY that she is dry all day! Like others have said, my husband used to take my son to the toilet before he went to bed. This teaches them two things, 1) that it is ok to wake up at night and go to the toilet and 2) they will be dry in the morning.

I do have to admit though, I used to cheat and use pull ups for my son, however, with a difference! I used to put undies on him and a pull up over, that way, if he was dry, I would reuse the pullup the follow night and if he was wet, the bed never got wet and he still had the ability to feel wet. So that worked for us!

The only thing I can suggest would be to get her up before you go to bed and have her pee again. Other wise you are doing the same things we are. Good luck!

My mum gave me some excellent advise when i needed help. She said that the best way to help your child learn potty time at night is to take them with you when you need to get up even if they aren't up fully putting them on the toilet will help them realise they need to get up. It is hard at first but it worked for me now my son doesn't wet the bed.

We used the padded training pants and then covered with vinyl covered pants. This helps to contain any accidents but also helps them feel wet when they go.
