potty training could be fun if introduced earlier let say within one year of a child's life.
i have 3 kids between the ages 31/2 and 11/2 and i potty trained them before their first b'days and they are responding very well.
however, parents could introduce their kids to it by creating fun through music, play, etc.
which i know could catch their attention and will love it as well.
all the best.

my son is 2 1/2 and i bought him underwear at christmas.i just put them on him..and when he peed in them he didnt like it.so i said the only way you will keep them dry is if you sit on the potty.he totally understood that he has only had like 3 accidents since then.i put underwear on him during the day at home and pull ups when he go somewhere.i always make a big deal that he keeps the wheel or rocketship on him pull ups..and i give him a dollar every nite before bed for his piggy bank if he doesnt have any accidents..i also give him a few m&m's after he pees....he has been potty training for about 2 1/2mths..and hes starting to wake up from nap and all nite w/a dry pull up..you just have to be consistant and keep on them to go pee..and they will eventually just start going by themselves..now pooping is a different story =)

Christine, I know training 2 is twice as hard. Be patient and consistent, I will tell you though that if they are not interested don't fuss over it. All children learn to go potty, and they do it on their terms, most boys are not fully ready at 2 and have better chances of truelly grasping it at 3. If you decide that you are ready and want to tackle this head on then you have to take them every hour and make them go or they can't get up. Good Luck...wish you the best.
