Hey, my son is similar. I've found that boxer briefs help, because regular boys underwear feels like a diaper. Also no underwear just pants works sometimes. At home and work I either put him in pants and/or boxers, but in public and at night I still use diapers. He still has accidents occasionally but doesn't have any naked, and I know he's not quite fully ready because he is still wet at night sometimes.

My son did the same thing for a long time at that age. He would use the potty everytime when he had nothing on but would pee in his underwear. I kept at it using this method for a couple months thinking that he would eventually get it but he didn't. I came to the conclusion that he was not ready to start potty training. He can't go out of the house naked so I figured that is not an effective way to potty train. I took a break and started again at the beggining of the month (he's now 2 1/2) but now I am teaching him to take off his underwear and use it. It is a work in progress and I am hoping this way is more effective. Just try different things and be patient.
