My baby is 2 and we are having such a hard time with potty train, well i shouldnt say that. she will go on the potty for a few days and then she stops, she really injoys going on the potty, but she will asking to put on a diaper, i dont want to put on her i will tell her to go on the potty and she will say no. And if i dont put one she will pee or poop on my floor. most of the day she will do really good but then she stops. I do give her treats, we dance around the house ect, so i dont know why she wont just go on the potty. she will tell me she has to go, and i take her to the potty, but when she ask to have a diaper she throws a fit. Now i am not one for hiting, but i do get after her for it, I do tell her in a storng vioce that you know you should go on the potty. what should i do. I also have a 6 and 4 year old. but they did very well. I just hope someone can give me an idea on what to do.

thank you

Jenny

I am kind of in the same dilema..my son started using the potty & was very excited & we decorated it w/stickers, etc.... but lately he doesn't want to go on it anymore. I don't know y or how to get him back on track!! Planning a trip in May so hoping he will be potty trained by then.

My son had similar behaviour so i put a cloth nappy on him (he has only ever worn disposable) and he never asked for a nappy again because it let him feel when he was wet where as the disposable use to draw the wetness away.
