My son is a bit of handful anyway, but he wont even sit on the potty at all.
He started out really good he went pee and was excited then all of a sudden he wants nothing to with it.I tried letting him brush his teeth, read a book drink his cup, treats he just wont do it or even try anymore. If anyone has a tip or any other suggestions i would greatly appreciate it THANK YOU SO MUCH.

My daughter will be 3 next month and she just got potty trained! We went to the store and let her pick out her own potty. As soon as we got it home she peed in it! And she's been using it ever since..i havent had to change a dirty diaper or panties in over a week now.
Maybe letting him pick out his own potty, or some underwear? Maybe even bribe him a little..If there is something that he really wants offer it to him if he shows you that he can use the potty everytime then you'll get him ___.
If it works just think of all the money that saves you from not buying diapers!

I'm in the same boat as you with my daughter. She has actually peed and pooped before on the potty but refuses to even sit on it now. We've just started her in playschool (a week in--) so I didn't want to push the potty subject more at this time. I always talk about potty though and communicate to her the process. The playschool is supposed to assist in potty training. Hooray!

Every child is different.I've just started my daughter on the potty but I got her used to it first by letting her play with it and sitting on it on her own with a diaper on. I even bought a potty training book called diaper free by age 3 to help and it also gives advice for training them at a later age.

hmmmm, my son did the exact same thing. Still working on it in fact. I finally just blocked off the carpeted areas and am keeping him bare bottom during the day. Sometimes I have to be really stern with him to sit and/or stay on the potty. And when he goes I praise him a whole lot.
