My 3 years old wants nothing to do with potty training. Any advice or tips?

Dont force him, that was my biggest mistake. Society post so much enfasis on how by this age your child should do this and do that. he will go when he is ready! What i did for my guy is i put a jar of his fav snack (gummie bears) behind the toilet and told him that he got those when he sits on the potty!

I can relate to the hot wheel option as that is what I did with my son. In order for him to get started though we put Cheerios in the toilet and I asked him to try to sink them. That was how we got started. Hope it helps!

I believe that you cannot force this issue. But you must find somthing he/she can be proud of. I made a big chart. My son loves cars, but not any cars...HOt Wheel cars...so that is just what we got for a prize. He picked out his choice of stickers, then Let him put the stickers on the chart every time he went, and did not punish him if he had an oops. Then, when he filled one row, he could choose a Hot Wheel car out. It worked great.
