Potty Training Toddlers
My 3 yr old daughter is wearing pull ups but will not pee in the potty. She will go poop but thats it. Any secrets for getting her to do both? She is getting older and I would like to get her into school but she cant go unless she is out of diapers/pull ups completely.

I have the opposite problem of that. My daughter pees in the potty/big toilet but wont poop. Just try to sit her down like when she first wakes up cause everybody pees first thing in the morning and then just gradually do it during the day. Thats what I did with my daughter and she knows how to pee by herself. Hopes this helps

Get rid of the pullups/diapers. then make her responsible for her pants. She has to change them when wet and with a little help from mom and dad, clean up the mess.

Thank you for the ideas. Yes I got her a little potty and a Dora seat for the big potty. She got herself off the little potty and doesnt like the seat for the big one which is progress now she just has to go pee in the potty instead of the pull ups! thank you

Do you have a small potty or are you making her use the big potty? I started my daughter on a small toilet that i bought from walmart and she hated it at first but i took her every three hours and just got her to sit on that. my mom bought her a small toilet trainer that goes ontop of the big toilet for her to sit on when she went pee. If you start small maybe she'll go. Best of luck. hope that helped.
