My daughter just turned 2 and has pooped and peed on the potty and now just refuses

I dont know what to do with her.....I will not put her in pullup that is just an expensive diaper in my opinion. I put her in underwear and she will pee in them and just go change herself and every once in awhile she will run to the potty and poop on it. I try to reward her with stickers and prizes and sometimes she doesnt want anything. I think she knows how to go but she is a very stubborn two year old. She just turned on nov. 16th. I have been working with her for about a month now. She also has peed in the potty but just a few times. Any suggestions

Mine went through the same thing. Well first we were potty training and she started holding it for like 6-9 hours at a time, so we had to stop and just try and get her to go to the bathroom again. Then we started again and she just refused. So we stopped and gave it a little time. Now we are doing it again and she goes pretty well. Have his daddy have a talk with him, if around. When her daddy talks to her about it then she does more on the potty. We also talk about how it is okay to have accidents at first, but we need to try and make it to the potty. She seemed to be getting really discouraged.

Hello! My son turned 2 in September and he too went through this. He went really good for a day or two and then all of the sudden, he refused to go. I didn't get it! I figured that he just wasn't ready so we put it off for a couple of months. I started trying it again a couple of days ago and he has been peeing in the potty pretty good. I have yet to get him to go poop in it but when I go to change his diaper, I say "Lets try to go potty" and he goes. I am waiting to really potty train him until next week after the Thanksgiving holidays so that's when he will wear his training underwear and plastic pants. I agree, pull ups are just too expensive and to me, it's just like a diaper so why would they go on the potty when they can go in their pants?!?!?!?!



Maybe you should wait a couple of weeks and see if she's ready then! :-) Hope this helps, I know it worked for me! :-)
