I need help. My Daughter is having trouble with the potty training. She wants to use her potty but she is not understanding the feeling of having to potty. Like She will tell me she has to potty after she already has wet her pants. and then She will not poop in the potty and if she dose she trys to hide it like she thinks she is not suppose to. and me and her dad tell her that its very good for her to poop in the potty.. Can anyone help me..with this.. if i can do something different or something cause i have no idea. we are using the bribing method.. Where if she dose it right she gets string cheese. which is like the only thing she wants lol.. Please some one help

Keep making her feel positive and praise her always when she poops and wees, she's at a stage were she only begining to understand right and wrongs.Their little minds are absorbing too much at once and she can forget ,just keep reminding her and build her self confidence. Also Patience is very important..

Maybe she does not understand it yet and you should give her time, with me daughter we use stickers of her favorite things (disney princesses) and for poops she got m&m's. Also putting her on the potty every hour at first worked great, and getting super excited about it too! Hope it helps a little and good luck with getting rid of the diapers!

keep up with the good work, at 2 years old she is still very young and it sounds like she realises that she needs to wee, at the point where she's just doing it. That will come in time. With my daughter my friend gave me a book called Potty training in one week, by Gina Ford. It is a really good book and has solutions for every kind of problem, right down to children not wanting to poo in the potty. maybe you could borrow it from your local library to see if its worth investing in.

hi, I took my daughter shopping for her big girl undies and let her pick what ones she wanted, i also bought her a big sheet of cardboard in her favourite colour and then got her to pick which stickers she wanted. I found by letting her choose which one she wanted the reward chart worked really well. i stuck her chart up on the back of the bathroom door, and everytime she went potty she would put a sticker on the chart. I used to jump up and down and get excited everytime she went potty, so she knew it was a good thing. I hope this helps......

Sound like you are doing a good job sometimes you just have to stay with it . Till they get the ideal are you taking her to the bath room with you ? sometimes that is the key .. Are you using pullups they are like a diaper you need to use training pants most kids dont like to be wet . With my son it was a job but my daughter was a easy .
