I have tried

- Getting him to go before going to bed

- And also taking him to pee in middle of night.

- Getting him to pee as soon as he wakes up.

He does number two very well in potty for last two years.

He does pee during waking hours in the potty. He has "accidents" though. Mostly when is busy playing crazy !!!

But he still pees in bed at night or even car seat when we drive and he is sleeping.

Help !! I am wondering if it is time to find medical Issues and solutions

I have heard about waking them up every few hours to go potty, but I strongly suggest limiting fluids a few hours before bed, that way he doesn't go to sleep with a full bladder and right before you put him to bed, have him go potty, if you go to bed a few hours later than he went to bed, wake him to go (keep a small potty in the room for him to use as necessary, you may be surprised). Every 4 hours worked for my daughter (2x per night).

my son is coming up 3 in december hes now fully toilet trained. however he still has a bottle to go to bed in the evening i put him down at 7 and at about 10pm i go up and put him on the toilet ad put him back to bed. this really works for me and he dosnt have any acidents. x

Do you limit how much fluid he gets right before bed? I found that limiting a few hours before bed helps a lot. I still get Ruby out of bed at 3 in the morning to go potty, some mornings she wakes me, but more often than not I have to wake her. She isn't 2 yet, but its just a thought, maybe a glass of water with dinner will be enough. Good luck.

My nearly 4 1/2 yr old still wets the bed, and not just a little bit. His nappy is still really full in the mornings.

There's not really much you can do. If his body isn't ready to hold it all night then he's not ready. I know of kids alot older that still wet the bed or have done right up to 9 yrs old. It's not uncommon.

Wetting the bed is very normal right up until your childs bladder matures enough to hold everything in until morning. There are some kids who wet the bed up until they are 11 it is all completely normal you just have to wait until his bladder catches up to the rest of him.
