My daughter is going on 3 yrs old and she uses the potty, but she pee's her panties evreytime. We go through alot of panties in one day. Anything I can do to encourage her? or is this just something she will work through. She really wants to go to school or classes of some type, I tell her she has to be using the potty all the time first. Please if there is anything I haven't tried I need some tips.

She may be having trouble recongizing she has to go until it is a little too late. I would continue to praise her on her going on the potty and you may want to just start asking her if she needs to go every 30 minutes or so to keep her aware of the "feeling". The praise method I used was two mini marshmallows for going pee and 4 for going poo. Good luck to you.

Never make her feel embarrassed or humiliated. Always try to be supportive. If she has an accident explain that it happens and we will try to get to the bathroom faster next time. Praise her for telling you and perhaps try giving her a small treat when she tells you.

I know what you mean. My daughter is 2 1/2 and she goes on the potty when she has a pull-up on and other things, but as soon as we use panties, she wets in them. It is weird for sure. Not sure why thogugh.

I have tried snacks. She has no problem pooping on the potty, and she does pee in the potty, but she gets so busy that she always wets her panties just a little. I have been potty training her over a year, it's just getting her to go before wetting her panties.

Well, I guess I have to ask, what all have you tried? M&Ms did great work for my two year old son. Stickers worked really good. Find a treat that your daughter really likes that you don't mind giving to her. I did M&Ms with my son, and it worked really well...except make sure you start her off with a small amount. I only gave Maverick 6 M&Ms when he went pee and 12 when he went poop. then slowly worked down. now i only give him a couple when he poops. and instead of giving him candy late at night like before bed, maverick really likes baths, so i said if you go pee you can have a bath. then after the bath he would pee one more time and go to bed. that is how we do it. He is two and does really good about the potty. the only thing i have an issue with is getting him off his little potty and onto the big potty. because as it stands when we go to the store he has to wear a diaper or plastic pants over his underwear.
