My daughter will be 2 on sept 30, and she was potty trained at 18 months and didnt have accidents or anything. She knows what pee pee and poo poo are and can tell you where you need to go..to go. Then she got sick with pneumonia for a month and the meds she was on was horrible and she could never make it in time, which was fine. I mean she was horribly sick. now, its been a month since she was sick and off all meds, but now she only uses the bathroom about 70 percent of the time and either has true accidents, or intentionally pees on the floor. She will even hide her pull ups or underwear and put blankets down to cover it up and then tell me she went pee pee, I dont know what to. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. I am a stay at home mom and I am very very patient, I just dont understand what is happening or what else I can do. So any insight or advice would be awesome thank you.

She may be afraid that if she goes in the potty she might get sick again. Try to make it fun when she goes and when she doesn't don't make a big deal out of it. Give her lots of incentive to go in the potty with rewards. Those are always helpful. If she does pee on the floor and you feel it was on purpose, then make HER clean it. Usually that stops that pretty quickly. (Of course you will stand there and watch her clean it.)

Good luck, may her good potty habits return with a vengeance!

I'm sorry! I wish I had some insight for you. The only thing I can say is that she may just need more time to get back. Maybe just treat her misses like you did early on & reward her?
She probably just needs more time after the serious illness.
Hang in there.
