Hi I am in the process of training my 2 boys as well. Ryan is 21/2 and Robert is 11/2 and it is going better with Robert!! It is all up to the child. With Ryan I pressured him to much when he was younger and now he is very reluctant to go on the potty!

I always hear around 2 years is about the right age but I have found all kids are different. My now 7 yr old was almost 3 before he was. Now, my 2 1/2 year old will sit on the toilet all day but will not go on the toilet. I have a friend who potty trained her 18 mo old...I was never that lucky!

he will let u know when he is ready. just introduce it too him. put him on it once in awhile and when he actually goes make a BIG DEAL about it! he will feel so good and want to do it again. it takes time though. if he is not ready he will not go.. and when he is... he will let u know!

They say for boys between 2 and 3. Boys are difficult to train and some aren't ready till after 3 years of age. Give it time and do not pressure him he will do it when he is ready.A great way to get them to try is to have a prize box. I do that with mine and my daycare kids and they love it. Praise and prizes go along way!!!
