Our twins are 2 years old and we have started with the potty training. We have a potty chair and just a seat that fits onto the regular potty. Our son isn't having too much trouble...if you want to say. He forces pee out. Our daughter likes the idea of sitting on each but hasn't gone. Any advice how to potty train with two kids?

Well, so far no luck with the potty training. They like to sit on both the potty seat and the thing that goes on the big potty. We got them panties [real ones] and no real luck. Ugh. Diapers just are too expensive.

I have started potty training my twin boys who are 2, they will be 3 in a few months. They tend to work well going in turns. I send one boy then the other and they appear to be taking a liking to it.

With my daughter who is 3(lol) she has her hick up but they learned a lot from her at bath time. She was the child that could use pot or seat; it just took her choosing what was comfortable for her.

I'm about to be in the same boat. I have twin boys who turn 2 next month. My oldest is 4 and was nearly 100% trained at 2, until the twins came. His baby sitter was very helpful. She has trained several kids and went straight to the undies with the absorbent lining. She says Pull Ups confuse them. I am hoping the twins see it as a competition kind of thing (only because that is how they are about everyhing else!!!). We have one potty chair and the thing that goes on the big one. But to make it fair we are going to get another potty chair. If you come across some miracle plan please send it my way...diapers are way too expensive!!!

I have twin boys who are almost 3. We've been on the potty training "wagon" since last December (over 8 months now). They're pretty good about sitting down and peeing on the potty, but still aren't at a place where they tell us they need to go, so we have to just sit them down every hour or so. They still don't want to poop in the potty. We recently switched them from Pull-ups to the old-fashioned cotton training pants with the sponge lining. It's definitely messier, but at least they know when they're wet. They couldn't ever feel that with the Pull-ups even with the ones with "cool alert" that get cold when wet. We've really been making a push to get them trained with the start of preschool, but they're just not there yet. Kids have their own timetable. Good luck!

I have 2 year old twin girls who want nothing to do with it either. It depends on the day. I have two potty chairs and a seat for the big potty, still no luck.

I have the same problem but with twin boys...I was told the boys take longer to teach......and don't rush anything cuz it can lead to problems later ...like accidents in the bed...

p.s. i find the potties that go on the floor are easier..but if your son is doing good on that then maybe try a potty for your girl.
