I'm just wondering what I can do to eliminate diapers in 2010. My daughter is potty trained but only at home. When we go places I have to put a diaper on her because she won't ask or tell me she has to go. How can I go about getting her comfortable to go at other people's houses so she can be able to stay dry without making it a big deal???

if your going to a friend or family member's house you could get a potty seat that sits on the toliet and take it with you....my brother had to do that with his daughter and it worked for her...its like sitting on her potty at home...going to public restrooms are gross for anyone...i don't know what to do there i am in the same boat for that one.

Thanks... I just appreciate getting a response. I try not to take her into public bathrooms but even if we go to relatives houses she won't go there either. It's just strange. However she is getting better about not going in diapers. Lately she hasn't been wanting to wear them so if I make her go to the bathroom before we leave she usually is dry the entire time while we're out but i also don't give her anything to drink while we're out. That way I she can learn to adjust to being dry. But I will let you know when I get a response or some great advice.

I don't know I'm actually having the same problem with my daughter..and public restrooms are so unsanitary these days what should I do?when you get a response let me know also.Sorry I can't help but at least I can relate lol
