I need ideas on potty training my 17 month old little girl.. I know it seems a little early but she is so smart and i know she is capable of learning. She will not keep her diaper on so i think it's time to start! And advise?? :)

We started taking my daughter with us when we had to go. We put her potty right in front of ours and just put her on it when we went. We also put her on the potty after she ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. And after she got up from her nap as well. And eventually she started telling us that she had to go. If you are able to, try putting panties on her when you are at home with her and telling her that these are very special and you don't want to mess them up so you have to tell mommy if you have to go potty. If you don't have any panties you can use the spankies that come with the little dresses.

Its not too early, my daughter was trained by 15 months, so it is definitely not too early. Put her in cloth training pants or bare bum. Put her on the potty every 30 minutes and praise her if she goes. Not much to it. Be consistent, have patience, expect accidents, and once you get rid of the diapers do not bring them back.
