potty training a little boy who wants to wee standing :S

my little boy, dj is 2, and is potty training brilliantly, till the other day, when he saw my friends 4 yr old going potty standing, now he wants to go standing aswell, which i think is fine as thats what boys do, but i have no idea on how to teach him how to do that without sprinkeling everywere, even my hubby hasnt got a clue on what to do, so has anybody got some advise i could use, also, i should point out that hes not using the toilet yet, only the potty (still working on him using the loo!!)

well, terry, i tried the fruit loop theory, and he just wanted to eat them out of the potty !! =S



and stacy, i shall defo have a look around for a "peter potty", but i never herd of those before, and i dont have babies r us anywere near me, infact the nearest one is like 50 miles away!! so looks like ill be serching he net lol,

I have 2 boys and we bought a "peter potty" which is a plastic urinal which is height adjustable and you can even fill he top with water and "flush". I bought mine at BJ's but I think baby stores like Babies R US have it too. My 3 year old has been using it for a year now because he is still too short for the real potty and using a step stool is really messy when they are learning how to aim!

put some fruit loops in the potty n tell him 2 'shoot' them, practise makes perfect :)
