Is it true that in order for your child to pre-school, he must be potty trained? My son is super smart but he's taking a while to start using the potty consistantly. Are there any Schools that help along with the process of potty training?

Mine only would take my then 3 year old if she was potty trained, but I took a risk. I just made a big deal out of the whole pre-school thing and how they wouldn't let her stay if she wasn't trained and took her for visits. She was so excited she never in a year had a single accident there- just at home.

I cant state enough how my boys LOVE the once upon a potty for him. I set the potty infront of the tv so he can associate the two preschools just make you take things for them incase they need diapers and such for him, that is how my sons school is for the other kids that arnt trained and just take hime every ten min. to the bathroom if he has to go or not just let him sit there or watch you.

My son goes to a private daycare, meaning that the provider works for a larger company and recieves programs/activities from them but the daycare is in her home. He's currently being potty trained now and the fact that it's in a comfortable in-home setting makes it easier for him to go potty "at school". Maybe in-home daycare is something to consider, as opposed to a daycare centre where theres tons of kids running around.

In C.T they take them if not potty trained it just cost a little more

i know that some schools will work with your child on potty training, but most schools will only take them if they are already trained.

Some schools will. My son is enrolled in a private, church run, pre-school. They are very helpful with potty training.
