Okay, I've tried rewards, lots of praise, reading and pretty much everything to get my son to use the potty. He'll use it perfectly for a few days then refuse to use it. he is 2 1/2 and he'll tell me when he needs/ needed to be changed then screams when I try to change him and tells me he wants to go to the potty. I don't understand why he is doing this. Has anyone else had this regression problem and does anyone have advice?

I think you should let him do it at his own pace. I tried to potty train my daughter about a year ago and she went a few times then completely stopped. She is now 2 years and 4 months old and she told me she had to pee the other day, went on her potty and has used it since. She still needs diapers for bed but she literally was trained in one day. Its all up to them!!

Maybe just have a break for a while and then try again. He's still pretty young - not too young but you have plenty of time.
