Potty training my 25 month old son (almost 2 1/2) Pooping problems

Ok so I pretty much have my son trained when it comes to pee as long as he is naked, if he has underwear on he will go in them or if we put him in diapers/pull ups he goes in them! Also we are having so much trouble with the poop. He will end up going on my floor! I believe his body is not telling him in time to go to the potty before he actually goes! I have tried sitting him on the potty and I have tried candy, stickers and many other things as well! What is your advice? I need to have him fully potty trained by 3 yrs! Thank you in advance

Yeah today was great! I think we might of made some improvement! I heard him grunting like he was pooping! I ran and told him hurry get on the potty! He went poop on the potty! I made a huge huge deal out of and i said ok you get 3 m&ms for going poop on the potty (he normally got one for pee) and I told him he gets a sucker to because mommy's so proud of him! I think he had one accident after that but then tonight he said he had to go poop and he went on the potty and I asked him ok do you want mommy to sit here or do you want mommy to go bye bye so I gave him his privacy and left and he did it! I was so excited!

Somewhat similar. My 2.5 yr old son got the peeing part of it within 5 days (it clicked), but the pooping... so far it's been two months that he's almost 50% he makes it to the toilet, but barely. I think it's the matter of listening to his urges and coinciding with bodily function. it's been pretty frustrating to the least.

Im having the same problem, my three year old will pee pee in the potty, he just wont poop in the potty. This has gone on for about a month now, and Im tired of it, he knows hes not suppost to but he does it anyway. We will find him pooping in the closet, dont know what to do. I've also done all the bribes myself. With my other 2 older children it was a breeze, once they peed in the potty, they pooped in the potty. Im frustrated:(
