Hi my daughter is 3 in April and really struggling with potty training. My frustration is she knows when she wants to go because she finds her nappy and asks to have it put on, if I put her on the toilet or potty she panics and says she cant do it, but when put nappy on she does it straight away. I never had any probs with my boys and thought it would be easier with her especially as her speech more advanced then the boys. Any advice? Im trying not to force the issue at moment as dont want to traumatise the poor girl. Please help x

hide the diapers!

this is what i did.. If you have other children hide the diapers.. if not a great way to do this is use the ol. nappy fairy trick.. have your daughter put all her nappys somewhere, tell her that when she sleeps the nappy fairy will come and giver her a suprise. explain to her that little babies need these nappys. when she goes to bed switch them with panties, and those little potty training wipes. (the flushable ones) and a cute handsoap that she will love using.

hopefully this works. this worked with my daughter, and she had pullups for at night.. ( we still put the panties over them)

it also works wonders with pacifiers.. the nappy fairy then turns into the nunni fairy haha
