regressing peeing in potty

My son was on a roll when he started peeing in the potty and now he is peeing in his pants again. I don't know what happened any ideas?

My son did the same thing. He started going pee and poop on the potty at 18 mos and after about 3 wks decided he didn't want to go on the potty anymore. He would even tell me he pooped and to change his diaper but refused to go on the potty. He would scream and cry if I even suggested going on the potty. He just had his 2yr checkup and the pediatrician said that was something perfectly normal and very typical for a toddler to do. Rest assured he'll go when he's ready. Hang in there!
