scared to potty on th potty! HELP!!!!!

my daughter will be 3 in late dec. and she is scared to potty on the potty im not sure what to do for her we have tryed small pottys and big pottys and will sit on them like shes gonna go but as soon as she feeling like shes gonna go she will scream tighten her whole body and ask for a diaper and when i try telling her its on to go in the potty she will get off the potty and go on the floor. i could use some help please i dont know what to do

I have a friend with 3 kids that told me she skipped the Potty and just put a potty seat on the toilet bowl directly and just trained her kids that way. She says that it avoided another transition from potty to toilet bowl. But I've just posted a question to see what other moms think. My soon to be 20 month old son just started showing a little sign by touching his diaper and saying pee.

KaeVii wears pull ups sometimes. i have a seat that she puts on the big potty. try letting her go maybe even a week not mentioning the potty then try having her sit on it and see if there is a difference. waiting for her to be ready is what helped kae. i didnt want to wait i thought she was ready but she wasnt. even today she went sat on the potty by herself and went pee. she only does it when she wants to now. i praise her and put her diaper back when shes done. hopefully in a week or too she will be more comfortable. you dont want her scared of it. maybe even giving her a book or something just for when shes on the potty to relax/occupy her.

everyone sayes to wait also but my problem is that my kaitlyn is in size 6 diapers and there tight so im gonna have to use pull ups and ive love to work on potty training if shes in the pull ups

my daughter will be three the end of jan and a month ago she was doing the same thing. my doc told me to just stop and leave it alone when shes ready she will do it. she now has went by herself 3 diff times. i dont make her sit on it during the day she just sits on it when she wants to.

Yep I have the same problem with my 3 year old daughter!!! She gets really constipated also She just can't relax I have been told that she might not be ready yet I am getting worried so if you get suggestions please pass on Thanks
