The title says it all, I think. We walk into her room at night and she's naked from the waist down. She takes off her diaper and goes #1 and/or #2 on her floor. But during the day when I put her on the potty, she won't go. I keep thinking maybe she's not ready, but I feel like if she's taking the diaper off to potty at night, she must be ready, on some level. Where do I go from here?

I don't know if this will make you feel any better but my daughter is 2 years and 9 months and will ask in the middle of the night to go potty whether it's no. 1 or no. 2 but during the day it's very seldom that she will ask to go potty. She'd rather tell me after the wet and ask me to remove her wet clothes. What's up with that? I'm very interested to hear what others have to say on toddlers only potty trained at night??

My 2 1/2 year old will take off her clothes in a heartbeat! I have to duct-tape her diaper on at naps (otherwise she strips it off and poop is everywhere) and at night we put her pjs on backwards, so she can't strip off her clothes. I know mine isn't ready. Good luck!

i have twins that do the same however mine are boys im jusr persisting with it no one is able to tell me what else i should do so i say keep trying i know im not helping much but atleast you know its not just your child doing it
