We had the same problem.even gerber 18 moth undes were huge. For cloth training pants try fashionably green baby!! We ordered her AI2 pull ups in a small for our 17lb 18 mo old........she wore them for 10 months before she finally figured out they weren't really big girl undies........so for undies look up mothergoosedesigns........she custom makes undies.....expensive, but i figure with the money we saved with cloth diapers and cloth pullups, we could swing it!

the easy ups do run smaller, so you may want to try those. but i would say if she is doing really well with the potty training i would look into just buying her undies. the pull ups feel like a diaper and may set her back. if you need to use them at night i would but during the day i would do my best to keep her out of them.  my daughter is 2 1/2 and she only weights about 25lbs. she is tiny too.  my 4 yr old weighs 33lbs. they are tall and thin.  as long as she's healthy i wouldn't worry about the weight so much. good luck

also...pulls have sides that you can readjust and they do have a type where they can feel cool or wet so they understand the feeling. Although ive been letting aubree run around with no pull up and she used the potty without us telling her to today for the first time. Its helpfull if you dont have to worry about carpets lol.

I too have a tiny 19 month old. Do not worry about what others say!!!

As for pull ups I have been told bad things about them and getting confused, they need to feel wet so they know they missed the potty. I understand the good part about being able to take them out and know that at least the nappy will catch it but I think even myself would end up relying on them...

You should be able to buy undies tho. I got size 2-3 and they are big but manageable. I looked at the pull ups when I was shopping and I think they are HUGE my daughter is still under 10KGs!

Would you mind cloth -- my son is 22 months old and only weighs a little over 20 pounds as well -- we are just now introducing him to the potty and I was thinking of trying the Happy Heiny's Pocket Trainer (we use cloth diapers as well though). They have an XSmall size that ranges from 15-24 pounds. I haven't tried them yet -- but I am thinking of ordering some soon.

Easy ups have smaller sizes then pull ups. They have dora on them. My daughter is 20 months but is also petite. I believe they have one that goes from 18- twenty something pounds.
