I have a two year old daughter she showing sign that she is ready to be potty train. My mother in law is telling me not to put diapers on her anymore, I have other ppl telling me its ok to put a diaper on at night or when we are out. I don't know how to start. I don't want to stress out my kid when she see that I'm stress as well.

my daughter just turned 3 she just started telling me when she needs to go i would put her on the potty every time i went and tell her see mommy goes peepee in the potty, and then would put her on it about every half hour 45 mins and if she went in the potty i would praise her like crazy saying good girl u went peepee in the potty. but when we are out diapers on and at bed time. once you get home daytime potty training down then work on goin out w/out the diaper, then bed time.

Its ok to put a pull up (i used the cool alert so she would know) on her at night and when yall are out but not diapers then theres nothing different to her...but try your best not to push her she needs a little encouragement just show her the potty and sit her on it let her do it on her own. I had major issues with potty training then when i finally backed off and didnt really try she done it on her own! Also daycare helps alot!

First of all, I have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My 6 yr old girl, was so much easier than the boys to potty train. She would come into the bathroom and I would show her what to do when I had to go and try to put her on her potty chair at the same time so I could help her along.

Once you start potty training, and she is going on the potty, DO NOT put diapers back on her. They make goodnight pullups by Huggie that are wonderful, or they even have some plastic training pants that work good too. I found the best way is once you start, and she is going throughout the day, put plastic on the bed for the night and take the diapers completely away! that is the best way i have found to do it.
