Toileting ideas for tricky 3yo girl?

I have a 3yo daughter who has been weeing on the toilet since she was 2yo but she wont do a poo on the toilet. She had bowel troubles as a baby for nearly a year but they have gone away and she isnt scared to poo but seems to only like doing it standing up. I would really like her to use the big toilet now but haven't tried to push her to do it because I dont want to scare her. Any ideas on how to further encourage the next step? Any info / ideas appreciated :)

talk to her and explain the she is a big girl. I had to take the diapers away when I had the same problem. If they are in diapers for so long it becomes more of a comfort zone. So... I had a little boy running around the house naked for a while...lol. He didn't like to do it on the floor though so he caught on very quick and realized that it was a lot nicer to have it in the potty than in his pants. Try taking the diapers away. She may get a little upset... he did... but it worked for me! good luck
