Two years old and still in huggies pull ups.

Now im not sure when people start potty training but i started early or trying. She has no problems going number two in the potty because she hates the feelings. But she doesnt stop long enough to go number one. Anyone know what i can do to help her finish potty training?

I just actually potty trained my 33 month old. Gosh it seems like about time to me. I thought it would never happen. I truly never used any pullups. To me it seemed like moving him into a nother diaper! one morning when he woke up and hes ready to potty train, I put him right on the potty, cause who doesn't need to go to the bathroom when they need to wake up. And he went. So I made a big deal of it calling all grandparents and jumping up and down and yes I gave him chocolate! I used candy and stickers(his fav.) and one new toy after going a week on the potty. I would constantly ask about every half hour if he needed to go to the bathroom. I put big boy undies on him right away, cause putting more diapers on him just didnt make sense. after peeing and pooping in his undies he didnt like the feeling and wanted to use the potty. i placed the potty in a area of where we are so it was something he had easy access too. and within 11 days and maybe 5 accidents we are fully potty trained. I couldn't believe how fast it went. but they need to be ready. I tried before a month before his first birthday and failed. but i felt bribes worked!!!! GOOD LUCK

we use a timer and when it goes off he has to go try to pee. He doesn't have a problem with that because he knows he can go back and play when he's done. we also use different special stickers that he picks out for peeing and pooping. :) hope that helps.

Two is great to be in pull-ups! But I suggest taking her diaper off for a while. Maybe even a day. I kept my two year old on a towel for a while, and ran her to the potty when she started to go. Since then, she's been much better with recognizing the feeling, and stopping herself in time.
