when i potty trained my son he was 20 months old we made him sit on it until something came out and when it did we praised him for it i honestly suggest big boy underwear for your son...we put the underwear on sabastian during the day and at nap time and bed time were the only times he wore a pull up..to me and also in a kids mind pull ups are still diapers and the think its ok to do their mess in it whereas underwear they actually feel the nastyness of it...hope its helpful to you
