I have that problem too. I have yet to find a solution. Mine is too smart for tape, yesterday my husband woke up with a diaper stuck to his head with tape. So yeah. We do footie pajamas alot, the snap at the top he has trouble with....but other than that, I follow him around. Constantly.

I think all 6 of my kids did that . i would just keep a onesie on or pants ,that worked with all of them .

Duct tape definately helps. I had this problem with my son, he started taking off his diaper and going to the bathroom all over the house a couple months before he turned 2. What a nightmare, all the cleaning and disinfecting. My wife and I wrapped duct tape around the diaper to cover the releasing tabs and he couldn't take off the diaper anymore. What a relief, duct tape saved my sanity and the keeps my house sanitary.

I dont even use Duct Tape. I just use masking tape. Just big enough to hold the tabs together. I think the masking tape is easier to tear off. My daughter knows she doesnt want the diapers but she is just not ready for the potty yet. She is still unsure about it.

Put on trousers or some clothing so that nappy is harder to get to.

I agree, we used duct tape and medical tape. We also had to put their diapers on backwards so the tabs werent so easy to get to!

i know it might sound kind wierd but tape! my daughter used to take off her diaper in the middle of the night and it would be a mess to clean up so we started taking like masking tape and you just wrap it around the diaper once and loose so it doesnt hurt them and they cant find the ends to pull the tape off! lol trust me they learn really quick!!

duct tape works!! lol. thats what i do. my daughter takes her diaper off all the fricken time.. and it gets really annoying when i have to change her bedsheets everytime she sleeps in them cuz she takes the diaper off. thats why i use duct tape. its difficult for my daughter to find the end of the tape to pull it off. but soon i will be potty training my daughter cuz now she will try to take her diaper off when she is wet. so thats a sign that shes ready!

Are girls easier than boys, or vice versa? Just wondering my grandbaby is 15 mo. old and will soon be potty trained.

My son went through that phase. We used to keep an eye on him during the day, and at night time we would sellotape his nappy on, he thought it was funny!

When my daughter started doing this I made sure she always had a onsie on since she couldn't unsnap it yet. Then when she got a little older closer to two we got her a potty and started working with it and now at almost 2 and 1/2 she is almost fully potty trained.

Duct tape....no seriously, duct tape. Don't wrap around the diaper. Use one piece (must be less than 7 inches or it is a strangulation hazard) to tape the two tabs to the diaper.

May be time to start potty training. Or just being curious.
My Daughter always used to do that. She just wanted to be potty trained.
My son on the other hand does it and is only 13months.
I put his diaper on backwards for a while and now hes wearing pullups.

My daughter used to do that so I had to keep pants or shorts on her so she would leave it alone.

My sister in law use to duct tape her daughters diaper on lol. Not touching the skin or anything, just one strip around the top. Good luck!

if they have recently gone to the restroom, let them run around naked. they all go through that stage. if you want it on, well, you just have to keep putting it back on when they take it off. its just a stage, they will grow out of it.

definately pullups if she can fit in them...and not necessarily to potty train they work just like diapers the huggies brand even has velcro sides. But if shes too small for them you could always try puttin the diaper on backwards. My mom had to do that with my little brother. hope this helps
