i can not get the hang of the potty training thing im training her in pull ups cuz i dnt want her to pee on herself in panties and mess up my carpet. help me please

you can be stern. you just have to live with the consequences, which might mean a scared kid who'll be more resistant. :o) raising your voice and getting upset at a child who is potty training will just make them want to NOT potty train, hence we say be loving. by all means be firm...just be loving about it.



most moms here say forget the pull ups. they don't feel any different from a diaper. in fact, my son HATES pull ups because he believes they are diapers. we had to tell them they are special for nighttime, since he's not ready for nighttime training. he thinks they are scratchy and uncomfortable compared to his training pants.



not sure what else you want advice on. i can't really say what to do with pull ups, since we use them very sparingly. anyway, good luck!
