why is it so hard to potty train a 2 year old boy?

my lil boy is 2 years old and iam having a hard time potty traing him he goes SOMETIMES.. what can i do to help him out more on wanting to go?

I have posted this a few times and it has seemed to work for all moms so far. This is just for going straight to the big potty. Empty the water out of ur toilet get shiny fish stickers and stick them all over the bowl,put water back in toilet get the 2000 flushes or whatever kind of the blue discs for your toilet. The toilet turns into a fish bowl and for some reason little boys like to pee in it, I know it sounds crazy but it works. If u want to add a little more fun throw some cheerios in there and tell him to try to dunk the cheerio. LOL Im serious:) Good luck and let me know if it worked for ya!!!

My son is almost 2 and I found that if I bring his potty in the living room and let him watch cartoons while he's sitting on the potty or giving him a book he will sit on the potty longer and uses it. I've try to keep the potty in the living room for now, and he's getting better with letting me know when he has to go. He has begun to sit on the potty on his own when he has to go. Then after he goes I show him what he did and get excited and clap and make a big deal out of it and then I give him a treat, like a cookie or something just to show him that he did something good. Hope this helps!

Give him a treat of some sort for when he goes. Also, get him some cool undies. These were the keys to getting my 2yo potty trained.
