I potty trained my brothers son and he was so easy I had him compleatly potty trained in 3 days I threw froot loops in the tolet and sense they flote I told him to pee on them he thought it was so much fun and wanted to do it all the time.. Now I have a daughter and I have tried everything to get her to go on the big girl potty, I bought her big girl paintys she would still wet them and wouldnt tell me. I tried taking her to the bath room about every 45 mins still nothing works. My daughter is 3 and I still cant get her to use the big girl potty!!!

I have 4 boys (19,18,13 and 5) that were ALL extremely easy to potty train....by the age of 2 in fact! Now I have a 3yr old girl....HA!! She IS trained, I know this because I put panties on her this summer to swim in our kiddie pool (her bathing suit was at g-ma's) and I told her to tell me if she had to go potty so we can either put a diaper on or go on the toilet. Soon she said she had to go potty, I asked her if she wanted to put a diaper on or go on the toilet...she said she wanted a diaper on. I put one on, she gave a little shiver and said "ok, I'm done, take my diaper off"!! She refuses to sit on the toilet! We just had a check-up with our pediatrician who said to talk none stop all day about going to the store to buy a "special potty chair JUST for her" soon. The in a week or so take her with me to pick it out. Buy stickers and paint to decorate it. Let her sit on it wherever and whenever she wants....to read or watch tv. After a week of becoming comfortable with her special chair, move it into the bathroom and take her diapers away. Good luck!

My little one was doing great till her lil cuz wasnt potty trained now I am having to re potty her. I cant understand why she suddenly stopped and began using her pull ups instead of going to the potty like she was, mom says it is because Jaycea dont go potty yet and Tomi wants the attention that Jaycea is getting. Things are back on track now. keepin my fingers crossed that it will continue to roll on smoothly

girls are easier, i had my oldest help show my middle one how to use the potty, and i use the reward system, i admit that i used candy at first every time that they went, but after a while when to stickers buts like a charm

my girls were easy to train, make it fun and be consistant.

and for my boys i got them a weeman it sits on the side of the toilet and they can stand up just like daddy (it helps to if they see dad do it ),but both were easy and i have trained 5...

I always thought girls were suppose to be easier. Ive read that everywhere! I hope it's true because I have just started potty training my little girl.

Hmm? I haven't tried to potty train a boy yet but my girls pretty much potty trained themselves. My first daughter was fully trained by 2 & my second was 20 months. They both just started telling me that they had to go so I bought them a potty chair and a potty seat/stool for the bathroom and it was that easy. They don't even sleep in diapers.

Girls are easier by far! I have trained 2 so far and my son is impossible! Everyone i talk to who has girls have never had a problem and everyone with boys says it's a nightmare...i agree by far. She might not be ready yet. If you pressure her she will just regress. The girls i trained loved the stickers they got to put on their charts when they used the potty. My son does as well but it's just not enough for him so i am taking him out of diapers during the dya all together and just using underwear, they get sick of being in the wet after so many time they will learn to ask to go potty. I know of 2 friends who had to do this also with their boys and it worked. If you truly think she is ready try this technique fora while and see how it goes. Only use diapers at night or when you go out of the house for the first few weeks.

Good luck!

Im just potty training my daughter now I tryed pull ups and she just did her toilet in them becuase they were just like her nappy so I bought her knickers, told her she was a big girl and showed her to go on her potty and after a few wet accidents shes got the hang of it. Im still now everytime she goes on her potty clapping and telling her shes a good girl in hope that she doesnt now stop goign on the potty as I know some kids who have done so. Good luck and hope you get the result you want

my girls were ez!! what we did is about a week before i talked alot about how cool it would be to have pretty panties and maybe Dora, barbie or pink princess ones we could get.... encourage their feedback all week and say to them ok... if you want pretty panties we will go buy some together but only if you dont potty in them ...we cant potty in pretty panties! so take them to Target (lots of selection) and let her pick out her very own....it works every time!
