Any tricks for a stubborn pooper?

My 3 year old son has gotten the hang of "peeing" in the potty after 4 days, daytime. Have not attempted any nighttime training, yet. He has "pooped" in the potty once, and he was happy with the outcome. Hasn't pooped in 2 days, screams when I mention sitting on the potty, requests that I put a diaper on him so I can change him. He has no problem "peeing" on the potty, what to do???

I'm in the process of potty training my little girl and she is exactly the same...I spoke to my health visitor about and its because they are more comfortable with doing it the nappy and having us change them weeing is so much more easier than pooing....but she gave me a few tips and one of them I'm sure to try: Get a nappy open it up and line the potty with it...I've not tried it yet but it makes sense they are in effect doing it in the nappy but on the potty at the same time when they have done it a few times like that then take the nappy away and see if he/she will do it without if not just stick with the nappy in the potty and keep trying???
I hope that helps, and I'll keep you posted with my progess be nice to see if it has worked/not worked for you ?!

I am in your exact same situation with my 3 year old. He asks me for a diaper so he can poop in it but he pees fine by himself. Have you had any luck yet?!?!
