Who had micro-preemies?

Had my little Jamin at 24 weeks he weighed 1 lb 5 oz 11 inches long! Spent 172 days in NICU and 67 days in children's hospital that's a total of 209 days in hospital before he came home! He's 17 months and 11.7 lbs and 25 inches! His problems are oxygen dependent, sever apnea, Brady cardias, seziures, cerebal palsey, tube feed with an implanted g tube, shunt dependent, blind, deaf, he's had 14 major surgeries in his short little life but we are so greatfull to have him and enjoy what time we have him at home!

if any moms of micro preemies have not joined moms of micro preemies on circle of moms we would like to have you, we dont have many moms on there

My son was born at 2 weeks and 850gr. (1lb 14oz) Spent 60 days in NICU. Came home at 4 lbs 8 oz. Doing wonderful!!

My daughter was born at 29 weeks at 1lb 13oz and is still in the NICU, but stable. They are weaning her off her ventilator. She now weighs approximately 3lbs 5oz.

My daughter Aiyana was born at exactly 30 weeks and weighed only 2lbs 7oz. She was in the NICU for 7 weeks and 2 days and is doing WONDERFULLY!!! No real problems after she came home!! :)

My first son Samuel was born at 26+6 weiging 519 grams he spent 100 days in nnu and came home on o2 he was born ealy due to servier Pre-eclampsea and HELLP, My secon son joshua was born at 30+6 weiing 2lb11 and spent 47 days in nnu both are now full of energy

My angel was born at 27 weeks and was 2#6.5oz (so micropreemie by age but not really weight). She spent 62 days in the NICU. She is now 8 1/2 months old and 15.6#

Her NICU BFF was born the day before her at 28 weeks and was 1#10oz and spent 89 days in the NICU. At 8 1/2 months she is 13.8#

mine was born at 21 weeks and breathed a hr and a half they did not try to save her even though we begged they wouldnt even try. i was told no more babies

We had our daughter at 26 weeks. She only weighed 9 oz and never took a breath. I am sorry for your loss sweetheart!

You ladies have made me have a little hope though... so of you with the tiny ones who made it are so inspiring

my daughter was born at 28wks 2lbs 6 oz she was in the nicu for 3 months and is now 15 months 17lbs and is doing pretty good.
im sorry to hear about your son.

I also has PE & HELLP, Tristan was born at 27 weeks weighing 1lb 1oz. He's just over 5 weeks old now and still in NICU, he's gotten up to 1lb 14oz so far, still on CPAP.

I had pre-e & severe HELLP, delivered my daughter @ 24 weeks on 10/23/08 weighing 1lb 2oz & 11 3/4 in long. 142 days in the NICU. She just turned 14 months old & is doing wonderful, finally in 9 months clothing! The only issues she has is that she wears glasses & has had 4 eye surgeries already, will probably need one more. Overall, we are very, very blessed...
