9mo's!!! What's your baby eating now?

My baby girl is 9 months and pretty much eats most foods. In the morning we give her a bowl of oatmeal with fruit or she has cereal. For lunch she eats the Stage 3 gerber foods. They have so many diffrent meal types and she likes most of them. At night she eats diner with us. Between my husband, daughter, and myself she gets quite a bit...lol

my daughter has been eating since 4 months! i started wit cereal and now she eats everything! whatever is on my plate she eats and she still has her baby food whenever but still has her bottles! try putting her on a bottle and see what she does wit that! u can put ur breast milk in a bottle with some rice ceral and try that! it might work! then she might want to eat more! just keep trying and try to give up the boob thing! lol

I introduced some solids at 6 months, and found that my LO would not eat pureed food. I thought at first that she just wasn't ready for solids, but then tried giving small chunks of soft food. Found out that she'll eat a chunk of banana, but if I mash that same banana up, she won't eat it. She gets to try just about everything I eat with some exceptions. Nothing thats too hard - since she only has 2 teeth and cant chew yet, no raw honey, and no peanuts/peanut butter. I know there are other recommendations for foods to avoid until baby is 1 year old, like egg whites, strawberries, & chocolate, but my LO has had those and has had no trouble. If there's a history of food allergies in your family, you may want to play it safe and avoid some of those foods till age 1.

As far as getting your baby to eat more solids, just keep finger foods available - like having cheerios on the table near where baby is playing, and eat with your baby. Seeing others eat is a good incentive to try foods. Offer baby some of what you have rather than just mashed up baby food. Keep trying different things, and you'll find what your baby likes.

Make the food yourself. Jar baby food has acidic additives that make it tart. banana's are good Brown. they are sweeter.

My Little (ok not so little) eats everything that we do. Doctor says it is fine as long as she is tolerating it, with her height she has to maintain her weight.

My daughter Aria is 9months and she eats anything n almost everything i eat. I used to chew food and feed it to her but now i make her own dish and mush it up for her. She loves food , both my kids do , they have been good eaters , even my 2 year old , i fed him the same way and now hes not a picky eater .
All you can do is try it out if she doesnt like it try something else but try it again maybe in a different way , i like to play the airplane game when feeding it makes it fun

Hi! My bubba is 9months and i introduced solids around 4mths. She eats just about anything! I give her a taste of whatever im eating (if its safe for babies of course). Eg. Bread, stew, chicken, vegemite on toast, tuna hommus... pretty much anything. I give her baby yoghurt for breakfast and organic pouches of baby food (about half a pouch) for both lunch and dinner. She still breastfeeds for daytime naps. Also baby rusk sticks are good and fruit (i put fruit in one of those nets..u can put anything in those nets and they just suck and chew on it and they cant get any chunks out, just the juices. Just try anything. They r old enough to eat anything i think! Hope this helps :)
