I've seen in here comments about ladies having their periods and not knowing they were pregnant for about 4-5months (because they had their periods) and then finding out they were expecting and the period stopping. I was just wandering what causes the bleeding? If you're pregnant and the baby and placenta are attached to your womb, where is the blood coming from or what is causing it, and if you are bleeding isn't it dangerous then?

I've been bleeding every month like a period and I'm 20 weeks. They don't know why I'm bleeding but my baby is fine. I m am freaked cause when I bleed it's a ton of blood

PS - I know there's ladies out there that will argue its impossible to have a period while you're pregnant, but its undeniable that there are lots of ladies out there that will attest to the fact that they were still bleeding monthly when pregnant.
