I agree with all the mommie's suggestions. I would turn up the temp on the hotwater heater and then run the shower extra hot putting a towel under the door and then play with them in the bathroom. I usually followed that up with a bath, sailine spray and nasal aspirator. Also, taking her into the sunshine can help her sneeze it out. Try to pat her boogies and not wipe or her nose will get all raw(some A&D or chapstick on the nostrils can help prevent the chaffing).

You can use Saline nose spray by: "little noses" and warm mist humidifier with vicks liquid in it. Elevate the mattress. Also steam showers as hot as you can get it and just hold baby in your lap outside of the tub and breath in the steam until water runs cool. Now a days it is not safe to give medication to a baby for congestion. Before with my 7 yr old I was able to give a 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of benadryl to her every 6 hours now they say not too and this is from the same doctors.

Best of luck and know that if your little one didn't get it from you it would have been from someone or something else.

Get well!

I use saline spray in the nose, then a nasal aspirator to suck out as much as I can. And I have a humidifier that I use with our without Gentle Vapors. (It's like Vicks). The other thing that can help is to elevate your babys head while she sleeps. Put a towel or a small pillow under the mattress so it raises the mattress up on one end.
