Right now, I'd say Disney's Jungle Book and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang are my 3.5 yo DSs favorites.

He doesn't watch "TV" so the shows I'll put on for him (DVD or netflix) in a pinch are "Fraggle Rock" or lately, "Busy Town" (Richard Scary's cartoon show).

He generally loves anything musical and I prefer to put on something with real people, rather than cartoons.

I really like to avoid violence, name calling and anything which models behavior that I don't want him to copy, because he copies EVERYTHING that gets his attention.

My son, Matthew, 2, loves Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and anything about cars, trucks and the 'typical' boy stuff, but he couldn't/wouldn't take his eyes off of Tangled.

My daughter, Madison, likes mickey mouse clubhouse, little einsteins, bear in the big blue house, and she's only one, and doesn't sit still for a full length movie...

Mine has to be Beauty and the Beast!

Paris' all time favorite is Spongebob, but has recently gotten interested in Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse.

She has several favorite movies. First there is Spirit, then you have The Princess & The Frog, every Tinkerbell movie EVER made lol.

My favorite is the Lion King..she wants to see it so bad she can't stand it. So I guess that's the next one we're buying =)

My son adores both Dora and Diego, as well as Toopy and Binoo, and Max and Ruby. If any of those shows come on, he hollers "THAAAA!!!!" at the top of his lungs while pointing to the TV and vibrating with excitement. (Seriously, the kid is actually vibrating.)

We don't really watch movies much yet -- he just doesn't have the attention span. My favourite cartoon movie would definitely be The Lion King.

Eric is 2.5 he loves Disney Jr channel so pretty much anything they show he loves but ultimate favorites are special agent oso, pocoyo, and Clifford the big red dog on pbs. He's also ok with wonder pets, backyardigans, Dora, Diego, team umi zoomi, bubble guppies, wow wow wubzi, and miss spiders sunny patch garden.
But those he only really watches casually, oso pocoyo and clifford are intently watched :)

We don't do movies much, but he does love Alvin and the chipmunks and the squeakwall too but they scare him in parts so i rarely put it on. He calls it chip monkey ;)

I like pocoyo, that show is simply adorable!

His fav cartoon character is Mickey Mouse.

That totally makes sense.
I heard about it and was kind of disappointed since I really liked the first one.

My son hasn't reached the name calling stage yet. As in calling other people names. But if he's watching that movie that does seem to be the one line he repeats. We took a break from Cars for awhile. lol

We took him to see CARS 2 but I felt it was a little grown up for his age (unlike the first one). The story line seemed difficult for 3-4 year olds to follow. And it was a spy movie, which my children really aren't familar with the concept of spies. I think the second one was tracking the original age groupe of the kids who watched the first one. (did that make sense?) But I thought the movie was more appropriate for 6-10 year olds.

haha, I don't know Dana... about the name calling?
My son started repeating the part where the peterbilt yells at Lightening McQueen to "Turn on your lights, you moron!"
:/
But yeah, overall it's a great movie. My son loves it and it was his favourite for a long time. I found it entertaining even though I'm not a race or Nascar fan. ;)

Ethan, age 3, Curious George 1

Soon to be Curious George 2 (also) when his brother gets here in Sept. and gives it to him. ;)

For a character he loves though, it's Buzz Lightyear. He has the figurine/doll and the bedding. The pillow case has Woody on one side, Buzz on the other...Buzz wins 9 times out of 10.

I don't have a favorite kids movie. If I had to pick I suppose it's Cars 1. It's pretty tame, no insanity, no name calling, no violence, no sadness, etc... It's got a great message.
