Not at all! It depends on your religious beliefs. Personally I do believe in an immortal soul but I don't believe that a foetus of 10 weeks has one yet. I am also more iclined to believe in reincarnation than in heaven, hell and purgatory. So had my mother aborted I would have been born in another body to other parents. It may sound crazy to some but that's what I believe.

I agree with Janessa. And as for adoption you have a point there Jayne, however here in Europe adoption is rare and the adoption of a european child even more rare! Most childless couples try fertility treatment, surrogate mothers etc before looking into adoption and even then the children are usually african or asian. I myself, born in the UK, was adopted in the UK (in the 80s when it was much more common!) and I have to say it's messed up at least a part of my mind for life!

I agree it isnt fair for someone that doesnt want a child to have to bring it up and it could lead to abuse and neglect. but i feel that in some cases adoption is a good option as there are so many people out there that would give anything to have a child and they cant have their own.

its not fair when a young girl say 13-16 is forced by a parent or relative or even a boyfriend to make a decision. i feel its up to her if she's courages enough to have her baby and look after it thats great. but if she knows she doesnt want it ( and doesnt feel adoption would be an option etc) then she shouldn't be pressured to keep it. its wrong and the decision that she makes she'll have to live with the rest of her life if she's made the wrong one god knows what impact that will have on her.

hey great topic i believe in abortion is right choice for many does not matter. I do not like it when people are forcing people ot have children their do not want. Because in the end these children are going to be abused not cared or loved because someone force them to have them it is not fair for the person or child.
