I will share my story about my 4th child in a later post, but I really want to know if there are any other women here who have actually seriously contemplated it?

yes, and it was because I was incredibly ill educated about the process. I believed I was pro choice and I believed abortion was ok. I am still dealing with the repercussions of my former beliefs and actions.

My youngest son was found to have a congenital heart condition. I was told that he wouldnt survive birth and was encouraged to terminate (abort). I would rather go through with the pregnancy and have a funeral than abort/terminate- would you believe that he is fine and well still has the heart condition but hasnt needed any intervention by surgery?
Rose, that's amazing! So glad to hear your son is doing well. You made the right decision and you were obviously rewarded for it!!

I'm glad that you didn't terminate/abort your son. I would have made the same decision. Thank God that he hasn't needed any surgery. God Bless you and your family.

Yes. I was 13 at the time. But I ended up changing my mind (I believe that it was God who spoke to me that night). I placed him for adoption with a loving family that had been waiting 5 yrs to adopt a child. I have never regretted my decision and if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I did it out of love for my child.
God bless you, Sarah. You are truly a loving mother! You are an inspiration.

I was 16. Turned out I wasn't pregnant and had polycystic ovary syndrome. I seriously had made the decision to terminate when the test came back negative. Am I ever glad. I wasn't in a good place then, and had no idea what it really meant. Would I make the same decision today....absolutely not. If someone like me came to me now would I advise them to terminate, absolutely not.

Yes. I was 17. I had a miscarriage at about 7 weeks (right after I found out I was pregnant) and completely blamed myself for the miscarriage because I was even thinking about abortion. Both of my girls were planned to the second and I was older and happily married at the time of conception though.
