Check out www.BabyGearLab.com for the very best test-based reviews of baby products around! There are much better brands out there than the ones you've listed.

I bought an Eddie Bauer play yard and love it! It's a little heavy but has a carrying bag and a sun shade canopy.

For strollers I would have to say either Grace or Safety 1st, that also goes for car seats.

I haven't used any other ones.

I use the review websites for large items as well, I am from Australia and I don't think we have many of those items on your list.

For big items and items where safety could be of concern, I read consumer reviews before making my decision. For everything else, I buy what's cheapest. I honestly don't know what the brand names are on the gear we have. I believe the first car seat is Graco and the second is Evenflo and the pack-n-play is Graco. But I'm not 100% sure. The stroller was bought at a garage sale because I did not receive the one from my registry. It pretty much sucks so with the next baby I'm getting a new one. I'm also thinking I might get a double stroller. Any suggestions?

I personally like Graco. It's just tried and true in my family and most likely won't ever stray from that as far as travel systems go. I do like some of the features the newer Evenflo travel systems have, though. They're both pretty good, IMO.
