Hi to everyone.

I'm Emma and have 3 children all born by c-section.

My first was in 2002, with my son Kai. After a long labour after my water breaking and nothing happening, being induced, Kai had had enough and his heart rate dropped dramatically and I was taken for an emergency section. He was born on 18th June weighing 9lb 1oz and 53cm long.

My 2nd was in 2005, with my daughter Fallon. I opted for vbac, and went all through labour, pushed for just over an hour. I was then given forceps to help Fallon out but she became stuck at an awkward angle, so was taken for another emergency section. She was born on 13th August weighing 9lb 5.5oz and 56cm long.

And finally my 3rd was in 2008, with my son Lennox. I decided on an elective section this time. My due date was 31st Jan so was booked in for a c-section on 24th Jan. But.....I went into labour on 18th Jan. I called triage and was told to go straight into hospital where I was monitored for 10mins, and taken up to theatre for a section immediately. Lennox was born on 18th Jan, weighing 10lb 9oz and 62cm long.

MY story is almost exactly the same as your first born except I had low blood pressure and my daughters heart rate sky rocketed, instead of dropping. I'm due again in Oct and opting for a VBAC, hopefull I am successful, although I won't be disappointed if I have to have another CSection

hi im jenny i have one little girl rachel, her due date was the 8th july 2009, i went 10 days over got induced on the 10th day (18th), she was born on the 19th july by emergency c-section due to her heart rate droping to 35bpm for over 3 minutes. she was 7lbs exactly. labour for 17 hours 35 mins and only got to 3cm dialated. i think i would try for normal if i came to have another. xx
