The inner qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman did not appear overnight but were hammered out in the trials of life as she trusted God and obeyed Him.

The next time a "trial of life" comes your way, I challenge you to take a different perspective then what comes naturally through our sin-nature (complaining, stress, depression, etc.). Could the Lord be using it to shape you? To draw you close? To encourage another through how you "handle" it?

Hey Melissa, thank you for this post.
I have had another "trial of life" come my way. It seems like when we get through one trial another is not far behind for us to face.
My daughter and her teacher seem to bump heads. She is in the fifth grade. Any ways, I received a message on my voice mail haven't not even met this teacher she sounded like she has a short fuse. My daughter is easily intimidated by her and tells her teacher what her teacher wants to hear, instead of telling her what my daughter feels needs to be said.
Her teacher wants to set up a meeting regarding my daughters behavior and assignments that have been turned in late. Which is fine, but her tone of voice was to me uncalled for. Am I making too much out of this?
