I have a 6 week old and I've started pumping to save up for business trips when I'll be away. I've tried pumping 1 hour after I feed her, and also right after feeding her to empty both breasts. I've just been pumping once every day and usually in the morning. Every time I pump, she seems to have a bad day and I think she is not getting enough milk at the next feeding. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice! I think I'm slowly increasing my supply with the pumping but she may be going through a growth spurt since she always acts hungry even after I know she got enough.

If you're concerned about your supply, then drink plenty of water and eat oatmeal. I took fenugreek to help with my supply. I exclusively pumped and it helped me tremendously.
