Moving to Queensland...

Hello everyone...My name is Pam and I am getting ready to move to Queensland in August from the US and I was wondering about car seats. I have a 6 year old that is in a booster seat and I was wondering what were the laws there for children and boosters or if there are boosters? Can someone please help? I want to make sure I have what she needs for her safety and by the way I am soooo excited about moving there just not looking forward to the 16 hour flight :) Thanks Pam

Hi Pam!



If she's 6, if i'm correct, she will be fine in a normal booster seat using the adult seatbelt. Over the age of 4, it is optional if you add an extra harness to the grown up seatbelt. The booster seat does need to be anchored in to the car at all times though and can't be one of those free floaty ones thats easy to slide about.
