I think 3 and 5 are pretty young. My daughter was in the 2nd grade (7 or 8) and she started taking it because she was having trouble in school. In addition to what we noticed, she was unhappy with her own behavior because she couldn't control it. The medicine has been great for her. She's 13 now, and she's starting to be able to manage her ADHD on her own, so she will probably be off the medicine soon.

my son turned 3 jan 13th and just got prescribed to 5 ml 2 times a day of methylin... idk what to do, plz help :(

My son is 5 and is taking all-natural "cures" for ADHD. Has been for about a year.
