Many ways and they are cheaper too. First, you can buy used or 2nd hand. Any thing from clothes to tools or electronics. Fix things rather than throw them away. If you keep appliance manuals they contain part numbers that are easy to get on the internet. Grow a garden or buy local produce. Reusable bags work in the produce section as well as the check out line and buy things that come with less packaging to begin with and you will have less to throw away. Use cloth napkins and rags for cleaning rather than paper.
